Kakashi planned a search plan and summoned his ninja hounds and formed the patrol teams. Since Akatsuki is targeting Naruto, Yamato and Hinata and Big Bark Bull teamed up with him. Everyone split up after forming their individual teams.

The Konoha ninjas and hounds scattered around looking for Itachi and Sasuke, Sakura and her ninja hounds sensed Sasuke scent, but the scent was on Karin...since they've never met Sakura and her hounds walked past her without noticing Sasuke scent was on Karin.
Naruto, Yamato, and Hinata runs into Kabuto, who gives them a book containing the information on Akatsuki that his organization collected over the years. He reveals that he wants to search for his new identity, and he implanted some of Orochimaru body parts into himself. Hinata's byakugan revealed that Orochimaru power is trying to take over Kabuto's body.
Naruto, Yamato, and Hinata tried to capture Kabuto back to Konoha but he managed to espace from them.
Elsewhere, Akatsuki members Tobi and Deidara found Sasuke and prepares to battle with each other.
