Hisagi is wounded by Kazeshini attack, when Kazeshini was about to finish off Hisagi, Kira Izuru intervenes to help Hisagi.
Back in Seireitei, Ichigo attempts to attack Muramasa but was stopped by Zangetsu. Zangetsu releases his Bankai, knowing Ichigo has no chance against Zangetsu's Bankai, Hollow Ichigo offers Ichigo his help by lending him his inner power, but in exchange Ichigo can't use his mask.

Renji continues his fight with Zabimaru in Seireitei, outside in the woods, Kira binds Kazeshini with No.37 Suspended Star long enough for them to escape.
Zabimaru activates Bankai and has advantage over Renji while Renji is unable to control them. Renji consider his own weaknesses, and tricks Zabimaru to take his own sword, then using Red Flame Cannon to break his own sword, and Renji uses the Broken Baboon Fang technique to slash the humanoid Zabimaru, defeating them. Zabimaru regain consciousness and return to Renji's side.
Zangetsu attacks Ichigo with his bankai mode Getsuga Tenshou, Ichigo struggles when Zangetsu uses Bankai, Ichigo works together with Hollow Ichigo, activating a new Getsuga Tenshou, Ichigo and Hollow Ichigo defeats Zangetsu.
Zangetsu defeated, Muramasa was forced to retreat. Zangetsu reveals to Ichigo that Muramasa uses a techinique to control zanpakuto instincts, which allow him to controls their minds.
